A hard day does not have to be solved in one sitting. These practices are invitations, not assignments.
1. Lengthen the exhale. Inhale for four counts, exhale for six. Repeat ten times. 2. Name five things you can see. Orientation tells the nervous system you are here, now. 3. Drink a glass of water slowly. Care can be this ordinary. 4. Send one honest message to someone safe: “Can you talk later?” 5. Step outside, even for two minutes. Light and air are underrated medicines.
If the day still feels too heavy, reach out to a trusted person or a professional helpline. You deserve support that is real, not only advice.
